The logo of CSKA Moscow was among the top ten logos of the world thanks to the British FourFourTwo football magazine. However, the FC coat of arms did not always look like this. The crest underwent cardinal changes from top to bottom. In different years, the logo depicted a skier, "bare" abbreviations, Soviet symbols of a hammer and sickle, and fragments of a wall with a Kremlin star. The current version is more symbolic: the star remained in its place, a football and wreaths of oak and laurel (symbolizing victory, strength and stamina) were added.
